A Short History - You mean you haven't already heard of us?!
On The Road Marketing was founded over 30 years ago by Hyman Peller. At that time, the company's focus was primarily on the selling of music and guitar related products to the music retailers of New York and New England. After working with Hyman at Kramer Guitars in the 1980's, Doug Brown joined the On the Road Marketing team and has worked together with Hyman since 1990. As the music products industry expanded, the company began to diversify into the live sound, pro audio and sound contracting markets. On the Road Marketing has continually grown since that time, representing some of the leading manufacturers in the music and sound industry, adding qualified staff and building a business based on service and commitment to our dealers and the manufacturers that we represent.

Hyman Peller - Board of Directors
Doug Brown became Principal of On the Road Marketing a few years ago after working at the firm for over 20 years. He currently handles sales management chores, administration and sales to key accounts in both New York and New England. His sales background is in MI, professional audio and sound contracting and his personal experience includes many years as a professional musician and recording engineer.
Mike Webber recently joined On the Road Marketing as Vice President - sales / NY Metro. Mike joins us after nine years of experience as a sales representative for all of Harmon's Pro Audio brands in NY. Previous to that he worked for a number of other rep firms in the NY Metro region representing many quality pro audio and MI brands. He also previously worked as manager for Professional Audio at the legendary Manny's Music on 48th St. His experience with our dealers and his background as a recording and live sound engineer bring a wealth of information to his sales efforts.
Bob Conklin, our office manager of six years, is irreplaceable. He previously worked at another NY Metro rep firm for over 16 years, and brings a wealth of administrative management experience to On the Road Marketing.
Jon Stafford - Vice President / New England Sales - worked in music retail for over ten years. He then worked as national sales manager for Raxxess Metalsmiths - a rack and rack accessory manufacturing company - and then as sales manager for a music products distributor before he came to On the Road Marketing over six years ago. He applies his sales talents to the New England region.
Chris Grajewski worked for a notable music retailer in Metro NY for many years, as well as, running his own live sound / production company. He has been with On the Road Marketing for five years. He covers the NY Metro region for our company. He is our "live sound guy."
Jason Longobardo comes to On the Road Marketing after working as a product specialist and in sales support for a pro audio manufacturing company. Previously Jason worked in music retail. He is also a professional DJ and brings all of these experiences to his sales efforts in NY Metro and parts of New England.
Hyman Peller is “consigliere” to all at On the Road Marketing. His years of experience in the industry are invaluable to everyone in the firm.
